Invaders of the Rokujouma!? Print Edition Kickstarter (Updated 10/31/19)

Yesterday, at 3 PM EST, J-Novel Club launched their Kickstarter to fund a limited print run of the Invaders of the Rokujouma!? light novel series. Their goal of $50,000 was met within 6 hours, and they are currently sitting at $69,500 as of writing this.
Their initial goal of $50,000 was to fund a limited printing of ten omnibus volumes containing volumes 1-31, 7.5, and 8.5. Their first stretch goal, which has been met, was $55,000, and this was to add two collectors boxes to hold the volumes. The second stretch goal of $70,000 is to release the Drama CDs digitally with a PDF containing the translation. They are currently just $500 short of this goal. Their final stretch goal, for now, is $85,000 for a physical release of the Drama CDs. This will come with two discs and a booklet. One CD containing the audio. A DVD containing the audio, visuals to go along with it, and subtitles. Finally, the booklet will contain the translation to go along with the audio CD. (Link to the Kickstarter here.)

If you've followed this blog for a while, or have gone back to look through old posts, you probably know that I wrote a Series to Watch Out For on the Rokujouma light novels. (For those interested you can go read it here.) This is a series that I have been a big supporter of for a while now, and I've been eagerly awaiting this Kickstarter since Quarkboy, the founder of J-Novel Club, mention the possibility for it a couple years ago. While I'm personally not a big fan of omnibuses, I'll happily take them for this series.

The success of the Kickstarter was also a surprise to me. I knew the series had a die-hard fanbase, including myself, but I thought it would be a struggle once I saw the $50,000 goal. Thankfully, the Rokujouma fans are either more dedicated than I thought or there is an abnormal number of rich folks following the series. In any case, I plan on updating this post whenever they meet a stretch goal, and possibly if this does well enough that more stretch goals are introduced.

Update 1: Stretch goal #2 has been met.
Update 2: Stretch goal #3 has been met.
Update 3: A 4th stretch goal has been added.
Update 4: Stretch Goal #4 has been met.

Series to Watch Out For #9: Ojousama no Shimobe

Ojousama no Shimobe  is a manga by Taguchi Hoshino, it is serialized in Magazine pocket . The series is currently 1 volume long with the second volume set to release on October 9, 2018. Here is the synopsis from Anime News Network : "The story centers around a main character with a meddlesome personality whose father is a butler and whose mother is a maid, and who one day meets a rich young lady who cannot even change her own clothes, let alone know what do in the outside world." The translation for this manga is only up to chapter 6 at the time of writing this, so there hasn't really been any indication that a harem ending is possible yet. Hell, there are still only two harem members so far, but with a couple of girls who could potentially join the harem. The reason I think this is a series people should keep an eye on is because of Taguchi Hoshino's previous manga, Maga-Tsuki , had a harem ending. Most of the girls in Maga-Tsuki were gods, so a harem ending...
