Series to Watch Out For #5: Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.

Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. is a light novel series written by Fuyuhara Patora, illustrated by Usatsuka Eiji, and published by Hobby Japan. The series is currently 9 volumes long, and as of writing this has an anime adaptation airing.

Here is the synopsis from J-Novel Club: "After a freak accident involving some lightning winds up zapping him dead, 15-year-old Mochizuki Touya wakes up to find himself face-to-face with God. “I am afraid to say that I have made a bit of a blunder...” laments the old coot. But all is not lost! God says that he can reincarnate Touya into a world of fantasy, and as a bonus, he gets to bring his smartphone along with! So begins Touya's adventure in a new, anachronistic pseudo-medieval world. Friends! Laughs! Tears! Inexplicable Deus ex Machina! He sets off on a journey full of wonder as he absentmindedly travels from place to place, following whatever goal catches his fancy. The curtains lift on an epic tale of swords, sorcery, and smartphone apps!"

I'm currently in the middle of reading volume 3 of Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni. and they have already clearly headed for a harem ending. Unlike other series I've written about this one is pretty obvious where it's headed with its harem. In volume 1 Touya got engaged to the princess Yumina, and shortly after he receives a phone call from God where he's told that polygamy is legal in this world. In volume 3 Touya ends up engaged to the 3 girls Elze, Linze and Yae. He even went out and bought his harem engagement rings. And from what I've heard from people who read the web novel Touya will eventually end up with 9 girls in his harem.
There's isn't much more to write about. From early on its intentions were clear that a harem end was the end goal. From what I hear the light novel is close to catching up to the web novel, but I'm not exactly sure how long the web novel will end up being. Without a doubt though this series will eventually get added to the list of harem endings.

Series to Watch Out For #9: Ojousama no Shimobe

Ojousama no Shimobe  is a manga by Taguchi Hoshino, it is serialized in Magazine pocket . The series is currently 1 volume long with the second volume set to release on October 9, 2018. Here is the synopsis from Anime News Network : "The story centers around a main character with a meddlesome personality whose father is a butler and whose mother is a maid, and who one day meets a rich young lady who cannot even change her own clothes, let alone know what do in the outside world." The translation for this manga is only up to chapter 6 at the time of writing this, so there hasn't really been any indication that a harem ending is possible yet. Hell, there are still only two harem members so far, but with a couple of girls who could potentially join the harem. The reason I think this is a series people should keep an eye on is because of Taguchi Hoshino's previous manga, Maga-Tsuki , had a harem ending. Most of the girls in Maga-Tsuki were gods, so a harem ending...
